The EDGEPLANT T1 is a high-performance edge computer with NVIDIA® Jetson™ TX2. The EDGEPLANT T1 provides GPU-based edge computing for AI and video processing. This edge computer also has a SIM slot, GPS module, and other features as an advanced IoT device.

2. Design for industrial applications

  • Reliable hardware that can be used as an in-vehicle computer
  • Support for a wide range of power voltages (9–36 V) for reliable use in passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and construction equipment.
  • Conforms to the EMC standards (E mark) required for in-vehicle devices. Noise propagation to the vehicle power system and peripherals is suppressed, and high immunity performance is achieved.
  • Wide operating temperature range (−20°C–+65°C)
  • USB 3.0 connector with lock mechanism to prevent unintentional cable removal
  • Independent MCU for power management and fault monitoring
  • Highly maintainable external fan mechanism that combines dustproofing and cooling performance

Multiple camera inputs and encoding are supported.

4. In-vehicle mounting

  • Conformance to the EMC standards (E mark) and reliability standards (JASO D014) required for in-vehicle devices
  • Support for a wide range of power supplies (9–36 VDC)
  • Automatic startup and automatic shutdown linked to the ignition of the engine (motor)
  • Wake on CAN that starts the computer in response to a specific CAN signal
